MUSEUM OF DEMOCRACY’S FUTURE LEADERS OF AMERICA CIVICS AWARD
The Museum of Democracy is pleased to announce its inaugural Future Leaders of America Civics Award for students currently enrolled in a U.S. college or university.
Deserving recipients are those who are passionate about making a difference in the world. Representing all backgrounds, students who have demonstrated a love of learning, a passion for American civics, politics and/or history, and a commitment to enhancing both their local and broader civic communities are encouraged to apply with a thoughtful 1,000 word essay outlining the applicant's passion for protecting, preserving and participating in our American democratic system.
Essays will be reviewed by a panel of judges on an ongoing basis and deserving recipients will be notified via email, each receiving $500.

Applicant Criteria:
Currently enrolled undergraduate U.S. college student
Essay Criteria:
In no more than 1,000 words, please describe why you are passionate about protecting, preserving and participating in our American democratic system. Minimum 500 words.

Examples of your community involvement, volunteer experience and leadership skills.
